TEHRAN Persian daily Baharwas closed down temporarly by the ruling of Branch 1408 of Tehran Public Court here yesterday.
Stating reasons for the ban, the court said the Editor of Bahar, Saeid Pourazizi had been summoned to the court several times and notified of the offenses and complaints against the paper, but the daily did not heed the court notices, IRNA reported.
Public Relations Office of Tehran Justice Department said the public prosecutor had lodged a complaint with the court against the paper and the judge issued a ruling for a temporary ban on Bahar.
